Adam Cloch AGA Members Continue to Rank High in J.D. Power Customer Service Satisfaction Survey

Natural gas utilities customer service satisfaction continues to rank high, according to J.D. Power and Associates 2018 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study. AGA members were among some of the top-ranking utilities recognized for excellent customer service satisfaction in the 2018 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study.

The study measures large and midsize utility companies in four geographic regions: East, Midwest, South and West. Companies in the midsize utility segment serve between 125,000 and 399,000 residential customers, and companies in the large utility segment serve 400,000 or more residential customers.

The study examines satisfaction across six factors: billing and payment; price; corporate citizenship; communications; customer service; and field service and is calculated on a 1,000-point scale. It also indicates that improving community and product awareness will continue to help customer service satisfaction increase significantly.
