Jackie Bavaro New Data Highlights Natural Gas Savings for Consumers and Our Economy

The 2016 AGA Playbook has been released today and provides a concise, fact-based narrative detailing how the industry and utilities are helping increase our energy security, improving our environment and boosting our economy. Our fifth edition of the Playbook details how the more than 100-year supply of natural gas in the United States is helping to meet our daily needs safely and reliably while growing our economy and saving our consumers money.

More homes and businesses are using natural gas and the numbers continue to increase due to the unparalleled value and comfort that natural gas offers. According to the 2016 PlaybookImageAGA Playbook, low domestic natural gas prices led to savings of almost $69 billion for residential natural gas customers over the past four years.

The 2016 AGA Playbook also contains pertinent information regarding pipeline safety, natural gas supply and usage, industry safety, energy efficiency, economic growth, cybersecurity and more. Jackie Bavaro is American Gas Association’s (AGA) Communications Specialist. Prior to joining AGA, Jackie worked as a federal contractor at the U.S. Department of Transportation supporting the Cybersecurity program within the Office of the Secretary. Previously, in a similar capacity, Jackie worked at the Department of Labor as a business analyst, researching ways to efficiently consolidate IT investments across the Department. In August 2014, Jackie completed her Master’s degree from Georgetown University in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Jackie holds a B.S. in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish from Ohio University.
