Jackie Bavaro AGA Hosts Next Level Women’s Leadership Program

The American Gas Association (AGA) hosted the Next Level Women’s Leadership Program at its headquarters in Washington, DC on March 9-11. This inaugural, industry-wide program was developed under the direction of AGA’s Leadership Council Diversity & Inclusion Task Force to provide a national forum that complements the diversity and inclusion efforts already underway by AGA member companies.

The successful kick-off session gathered nearly 40 rising women executives from AGA member companies across the nation, to discuss a variety of topics rangingCapture from career advice to business best practices. Speakers led in-depth workshops and discussions on how to enhance personal branding, develop and navigate strategic relationships, and expand one’s current network, while highlighting leadership case studies related to pertinent issues affecting the natural gas industry.

The Next Level Women’s Leadership Program is a year-long training and mentorship initiative. In addition to this kick-off event in DC, the program will include regional meetings hosted by member companies later this year.

We hope all those who attended found value in this exciting event—we look forward to seeing attendees again over the summer at our regional meetings. To learn more about the program, click here or contact Ysabel Suarez at 202-824-7024 or ysuarez@aga.org.
