		<description>That&#039;s not the official DOE logo, it&#039;s an enhanced graphic that someone put together to look more realistic and 3D, presumably for visual impact.  The official logo just has the derrick without the pump jack and represents gas as well as oil.  See the logo on the homepage:  energy.gov.

Also note that the turbine on the seal, meant to represent electric power generation, could easily be gas-fired.</description>
